Here are some answers to some frequently asked questions.

Do you work with an assistant?
When you hire us you get a dynamic husband and wife team with a combined 25 years of photography experience. We also shoot weddings individually, such as smaller and destination weddings.

We want a mixture of photojournalistic and traditional photography — do you do that?
YES. While we love to be creative and in-the-moment, we strongly recommend doing the traditional (group) shots as well, they are very important. we' ve had couples in the past adamant that they wanted ALL candid photographs, but we found that the parents aren’t too excited about that idea. And you know what.... they are right! Spending a little time getting those family and group shots is time well spent.

Do you have backup equipment?
Of course! When you get that sinking feeling that you even have to ask that question to a photographer, you are in trouble— run!

What type of Albums do you offer?
We offer a variety of different album styles and work with several manufacturers in the US and abroad (Italy). Most of our clients opt for our modern Magazine Style albums, we offer traditional, matted albums as well. Marcel has a background in graphic design and designs all his albums himself. Each book is a unique masterpiece that tells the story of your special day. The albums are a must see. You can see some sample designs by clicking here.

Will you go to a location before the wedding?
Whenever we can we will attend rehearsals or check out the location (unless we already are familiar with the venue) prior to the event. We’ve found that it is always best to be prepared and see how the lighting conditions are in order to bring the right type of equipment. If we can't make it we will arrive to the venue earlier to get accostomed to the location.

Do you shoot film or digital?
We shoot mainly digital now-a-days. We like the creative freedom it gives us. Digital has come a long way. Be aware that there are some very dated opinions and articles on that subject. Some photographers prefer film and are very passionate about it and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Again look for the quality and see if the style suits you. If the photographer doesn't know what he/she is doing, you will not get good quality, doesn't matter whether they work with film or digital.
